With the 2008 Tucson Raceway Park race season nearing the halfway mark, Phoenix Arizona’s Scott Rueschenberg and The Project Blue Oval Ford Fusion powered by Ford Racing's 347 Small Block Sealed Crate Engine M-6007-D347SR continues to lead the series with Six Feature Wins and a large points lead over last years Arizona State Champion.
Due to Tucson Raceway Park's Feature Event invert policy, Rueschenberg has started almost all the Feature events from the rear of the field yet he continues to amaze the crowd and fellow competitors with the pace of the only Ford in the field of Bowties and a lonely Ram. The engine continues to perform flawlessly week after week with only routine oil changes and the valves have never required adjustment - most likely due to the quality parts and the 6300 RPM limit. Wear and tear on other drivetrain components has been non existent resulting in no product failures and no DNFs.
We would like to thank our project partners whom helped make this project a reality.
Project Blue Oval Partners:
Ford Racing, Lefthander Chassis Company, GAT Racing, AFCO, Five Star Bodies, Fire Bottle, Fluidampr, Holley Performance Products, Bassett Racing Wheels, Howe Racing Enterprises, Crane Ignition, DynoTech Driveshafts, Longacre Racing, Jones Racing Products and Larry’s Engine and Marine.
Thanks,
Dan Ruth
