• SUTTON FORD WINS EFI RENEGADE CLASS
  • Congratulations to Sutton Ford for winning the EFI Renegade class in NMRA Nationals in Reynolds, GA.

The Sutton team switched to Ford Racing power in 2007 and immediately set records for fastest ET and MPH in Renegade.

For 2008, Sutton enlisted veteran driver Bob Cook to pilot their Bullitt Mustang. With the bugs worked out from 2007, Cook qualified #1 and then marched through the field in Reynolds.

Durability and consistency kept the Sutton team from a championship in 2006 which prompted the change from aluminum blocks to the new Ford Racing modular Boss-5.0 block (M-6010-BOSS50) for 2007. The Boss-5.0 block improved cooling, durability, and power leading to record setting performance. For 2008 the team added Ford Racing Ford GT Heads (M-6049-GT, M-6099-GT).
